Affinity is the only magazine that covers California Community Colleges, their alumni, and their students and faculty. Affinity advances the reach and goals of the California Community Colleges through informative articles, alumni and student profiles, and college features. We celebrate and highlight individual and institutional successes and applaud our colleges for the impact they have on their communities.
The California Community College system is the largest higher education system in the world, comprising 112 colleges and educating over 2.9 million students annually. California Community College alumni—those who have taken classes, earned certificates or associate’s degrees, or transferred to four-year institutions—have gone on to become California’s business, government, and community leaders. Approximately one-third of University of California graduates and two-thirds of California State University graduates are also California Community College alumni.
For alumni, for students, for colleges, for Californians—Affinity is the magazine for California Community Colleges.
